About: The wax I use for my Batiks is 100% beeswax. Thus, this artwork is protected with a thin layer of beeswax as a byproduct of the process. Beeswax gives colors a special luminosity and acts as a UV filter, preventing discoloration caused by sun exposure.
The paper is mounted on canvas and then stretched on a wooden frame.
